Reading Bookfair, Thames Valley Bookfairs was established. The four had been friends and neighbours for many years but it was the love of books that brought them closer together. The Green List was an idea formed after one of their many trips together.

The concept of a guide was not new and many of the sellers and fair Link building service organisers approached were enthusiastic and gave them support. The result was the 1989 edition featuring a Windsor Castle print on the front page and a hand drawn map on the back.

Over the last few years, Myra have taken over the task of the creation and promotion of the festival with event acting as a delivery man. All the acts are tributes as many of the greats are disbanded, too expensive or even no longer with us. We hope to give you the chance to see acts that you have always wished to see but no longer have the opportunity.

The London festival has been confirmed for a sixth year in 2012. The festival and Medieval events will take place between the 1st and the 23rd June.

The deadline for events submissions for printed media is fast approaching. We cannot guarantee your event will receive coverage in our printed media unless they are submitted by 4th April.
